video message from World Missions Executive Director John Bueno

Everyone has heard about the immense devastation that has occurred in Haiti.  We have all be absolutely appaulled by the destruction and loss of life.  Many people, churches, and organizations have called the National Assemblies of God office in regards to possibly volunteering to go to Hait to assist in the relief effort.  Because of the serious security concerns, the relief teams currently on the ground have had to hire armed security guards.  The Assemblies of God will not be deploying any volunteer teams until they can ensure their safety.  Please watch for future announcements.

A relief assessment team from Convoy of Hope and a representative from HealthCare Ministries went to Haiti on January 14th to give the churches an update as well as produce a more specific list concerning their financial needs.  If you would like to contribute to the Haiti relief effort by Convoy of Hope, you can make your checks payable to the Worship Center with a memo Haitian Relief, and we will send them to the National Office as quickly as we can.  Thank you in advance for your prayers and any donations you can make to bring relief to this country.

Until All Have Heard,

Pastor Joe Adams
